3. Technology Property:
1) Use high conversion mutant strain of Mycobacterium, so the content of byproduct in fermentation broth will be lower.
2) If the adding amount of phytosterol as substrate is more than 25g/L, fermentation time would be 4 days with final titre of more than 10g/L; if the adding amount of phytosterol as substrate is more than 50g/L, fermentation time would be 7 days with final titre of more than 20g/L.
3) There is no need to add vegetable oil or emulgator simplifying the purification process.
