1.1 Product
Alkaline Protease is a kind of enzyme which is excreted from Bacillus alcalophilus and can hydrolyze protein peptide bond under the alkalescent condition.
1.2 Definition of the activity unit of alkaline protease
1g alkaline protease under the conditions of pH10.5, 40ºC, and hydrolyzed casein may produce 1mg tyrosine each minute that is defined to be one enzyme activity unit. (U/ml)
1.3 Condition of storage
The product can be very stable under the condition of 4℃.
2.Product Application
The protease can work best in the pH range of 8 to 11 and are used widely in de-hair hides, silk, medicine, food and biochemical etc, especially in washing powders.
